The vast majority of businesses located in the resort areas of Mallorca are not 12 months of the year businesses as in the winter season the custom is just not there.

Palma however is in a completely different position and as the capital of the Island it gives you a huge starting base with over half the Islands population living right on your doorstep.

As there is also a good deal more to Palma than beaches the eager tourists of all Nationalities continue to flock there throughout the year giving you 12 months of consistent business.

Located near the busy Plaça Major square this brand new cafe with whitewashed interior walls and red tiled floors is a real gem.

The menu served is aimed at the many English speaking tourists ( which include British, Americans, Germans, Scandinavians plus many, many more ) in a vibrant busy square with outdoor seating areas where there are also several Italian and Oriental restaurants.

Much of the trade actually takes place on the outdoor terrace from the 28 covers ( 6 tables of four ). It is not unusual however for a few extra tales to “appear” outside during peak times.

The indoor cafe area where all the food preparation and cooking takes place also has four more tables and features a display fridge, drinks fridge, toasters, micorowaves, small pizza ovens, hotplate, etc, etc.

To the rear of the 100 square metre shop is a further large area where more internal tables could potentially be added. Also to be found here are the public toilets and wash area.

Should you require more storage this shop has a generous basement area where you will also find the water heater and further fridges.

Currently the owners do so well that they only trade during the day ( 11.00am to 6.00pm ) and they close in February for their annual holiday. You could however quite easily double what is already an excellent income by opening in the evenings as well, which all the other restaurants in this main square already do !!

This is Palma at its very best and there is never going to be any shortage of custom. If you want a really busy cafe in “real Mallorca” this is the one for you.
